RENTAL PERIOD, DELIVERY AREAS, AND GENERAL GUIDELINES
Your beach equipment will be delivered to your specified shipping (that is, rental property) address on the specified day of check-in and retrieved on the day of check-out. A weekly rental is between 5-7 days. On larger orders such as family reunions or sporting events, please contact us for availability and special pricing.
We currently only provide service to North Myrtle Beach area. We will make our best effort to deliver your rental items by 6:00 p.m. on your check-in day. If you arrive earlier, express service is available and can be delivered by 1:00 p.m. Delivery requests can be made for areas outside of North Myrtle Beach, but a $25.00 delivery fee will be charged (regardless of order price) at processing and express service will not be available. If you are unsure as to whether your rental property is within our range, give us a call.
Our free shipping minimum (before tax) is $100 per order. Customers must use the “FREESHIP” coupon at checkout to bypass the charge. Otherwise a flat $25 shipping fee is added to the order by default. If we are shipping to an address outside of our North Myrtle Beach range, the $25 must be applied, or will be applied as a fee post-checkout. Only one shipping fee will be charged per order.
Tax for the area (North Myrtle Beach, SC) is assessed at 9% and will be added during checkout. Processing/order confirmation will be provided via email once inventory is confirmed. Orders are charged immediately upon rental purchase. If you encounter any problems or have any questions regarding inventory or these conditions, please notify us. We’re here to help.
On day of check out, (check-out days, unless otherwise arranged for earlier pick-up) we will pick up the rented beach equipment outside of unit. Items must be outside the unit and accessible. A $25 retrieval fee will be applied if items are moved to another location or locked inside the unit. For any missing, stolen, or damaged items, a replacement fee will be charged to your account. If any items appear or become damaged, lost, or stolen, please notify us as soon as possible.
CLEANING FEE – MISSING ACCESSORIES
Cherry Grove Beach Services maintains a high level of care to all equipment to ensure customers have a great experience. A Cleaning fee/ missing item fee may be charged invoice. Items and accessories that are accidentally kept can be mailed to our address at 302 Main St., North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. We will issue a refund to your cleaning fee/ missing item upon receipt of items.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Cancellations without penalty must be made one week prior to arrival if not, all rental fees will be charged to the credit card given for the reservation. In the event the cancellation is not made at least 7 days in advance all rental fees will be charged to the credit card given for the reservation. Upon your arrival date, we cannot offer refunds, but we will be glad to make exchanges for items of comparable value. Contact us in order to make exchanges. We do not offer refunds for inclement weather. $25 processing fee on cancellations. In the event of a mandatory evacuation, the customer is required to provide Cherry Grove Beach Services, LLC. with a written refund request within thirty (30) days after evacuation. Prorated refunds minus the $25 delivery/pick up fee will be given for rental equipment only. Please send refund request to 302 Main St., North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.
RENTER AGREEMENT
The Renter agrees to be responsible for the care and general maintenance of the items and equipment rented. Any injuries sustained or damages to other persons or property due to negligence or mishandling of the items or equipment rented throughout the rental period is solely the responsibility of the renter. Renter understands that there exist certain risks of injury from the use or misuse of such items, including the potential risk of serious injury, disability or death from the use of such items. Renter assumes all responsibility for rented equipment while in Renter’s possession. Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Cherry Grove Beach Services and their officers, shareholders, owners, operators, agents, and employees from any claim arising from renter’s use, operation, or possession of the rented equipment. Under no circumstances will Cherry Grove Beach Services LLC be held responsible for any damage to person or property, disability, injury or loss, including death, arising from the use of any rented equipment or the failure of the equipment to function as intended by the manufacturer. Renter further agrees he/she will be held accountable for any damages to any and all parties involved during this rental period.
Upon purchase of rental equipment, Renter thereby authorizes Cherry Grove Beach Services LLC to charge to the foregoing credit card or account all charges and fees which are due or may become due under this agreement.
The Renter acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth above.
The Renter further acknowledges and agrees that this instrument constitutes the entire agreement between the parties on the subject matter hereof and that it may not be amended, altered, or changed except by a written agreement signed by the Renter and by Cherry Grove Beach Services LLC.
